Managing Discord roles based on your Tribes Tiers can be a hassle. With the Tribes Discord Integration, you can assign one or multiple roles to your Tiers, and they'll be automatically applied when Tribers join your Discord server. Roles update automatically when Tribers change Tier and are removed if they leave your Tribe, no manual work required.

IMPORTANT: To use your Discord integration, your Tribers need to link their MyMiniFactory and Discord accounts. We have included a quick guide at the bottom of this article you can share with them here >
How to connect your MyMiniFactory Tribe to your Discord server

Step 1) Navigate to the Tiers section of your Tribes Admin Panel to access your Tribes App Integration settings. Here you can find your Discord connection.
Step 2) Click the “+ CONNECT” button in the Discord integration box. This will take you to an authorization popup to connect your accounts. Select the server you wish to connect your Tribe to from the dropdown menu under “ADD TO SERVER” and confirm.
Step 3) Next, grant the MyMiniFactory Discord bot permissions to Manage Roles, Kick Members, and Create Invites. This enables full automation; roles are assigned when Tribers join, updated when they change Tiers, and removed when they leave your Tribe.
Note: When Tribers connect their MyMiniFactory account to Discord, they can join and leave eligible Discord servers from their Connected Applications and Devices page.
The MyMiniFactory Bot's "Kick Members" permission is only used when a Triber manually leaves your server from this page.
Click the checkboxes to give the MyMiniFactory bot these permissions and click "Authorize".
Once connected, the "+ CONNECT" button in the Discord integration box will change to "DISCONNECT". You can use this to disconnect your Discord integration at any time. Please note that this will remove all Discord roles currently assigned to Tribers via your Tribes Tiers.
Step 4) Set MyMiniFactory Bot role hierarchy.
For your MyMiniFactory Bot to assign and update roles in your Discord server (i.e. your Tribes Tier roles), you must ensure it is placed above those roles in your Server role list.

Open your Discord server, click Server Settings in the dropdown menu in the top left next to your server name.
Then scroll down and click the Roles tab within your server settings. Drag and drop the MyMiniFactory Bot to sit above any other roles you want it to manage.
Step 5) You can now assign Discord roles to your Tribes Tiers.
Click on the edit (pencil icon) on the Tribes Tier you wish to assign Discord roles to.
Scroll to the bottom of the popup to find the Discord integration options. You'll see a list of all your Discord roles under Discord integration. Check the boxes next to the roles you want to assign to this Tier.
You can assign one or multiple roles per Tier. When a Triber in this Tier joins your Discord server, they'll automatically receive the selected roles.
After selecting the Discord roles for this Tier, click Save at the bottom of the popup.
Note: You'll only see these Discord integration options if your server is connected to your Tribe.

Once you have selected Discord roles for a Tier you will see the Discord icon appear on that Tier, in the Tiers section of your Tribes admin panel.
You will also see the “Discord benefits included” box appear on that Tier on your Tribes page.
When a new Triber joins a Tier with assigned roles, they will see the option to access your server and connect their MyMiniFactory and Discord accounts in the “Welcome to the Tribe” popup.
Existing Tribers simply need to connect their MyMiniFactory and Discord accounts and join your server to automatically receive the roles assigned to their Tier.
Note: During the Tribes monthly changeover, Tribers have a 2 to 3-day grace period for payment renewal verification. If a subscription is cancelled or not renewed, the Triber role will be automatically removed on the 3rd of the month.

Guide For Tribers: How To Connect MyMiniFactory To Discord
Step 1) Navigate to the Connected Applications and Devices page in your settings. Profile Dropdown > Settings > Applications and Devices
Step 2) Click the “+ Connect” button in the Discord section of the page
Step 3) This will open the Discord authorization popup. Click "Authorize" to allow MyMiniFactory to connect your accounts. This limited permission lets MyMiniFactory match your Tribe subscriptions with your Discord account and automatically apply the appropriate roles on servers you've joined.
Once you have completed this stage the “+ CONNECT” button in the Discord section of the Connected Applications and Devices page will change to “DISCONNECT”. You can disconnect your accounts at any time; however, please note disconnecting your accounts will remove all Discord roles currently assigned via your Tribes Tier subscriptions.
Step 4) You will now see all available Discord servers on the Connected Applications and Devices page, based on the Tribes you've joined. Simply click to join or leave a server, and your Discord roles will be automatically applied or removed.
